1. Know your busy and slow seasons
It perhaps wouldn’t be the best idea to leave the business for a long period of time there is a busy season upcoming. All businesses experience the slow periods and the completely hectic periods, so it would be wise to go away when the business may be a little quieter than usual. After all, you probably wouldn’t enjoy yourself if you knew people were constantly trying to contact you.

4. You could consider shutting the business down temporarily
It’s not the most common of practices, but if you feel you may be worrying too much while you’re away, you could decide to temporarily close the business. This wouldn’t be advised during busy period but would be ideal when you’re experiencing a slow season. Do be aware that customers and clients may choose to go elsewhere if they need work done immediately, so this a risk to consider before making any hasty decisions.
