He is the
coolest dad ever, even though he is not my real father. He is
really my foster dad. We were moved from our house when I was
only 10 years old and we were put in foster care. We've been
from home to home. The reason why my foster dad is the coolest
is because when I was about 12 we moved from our other foster
home and didn't know where to go. Then our foster dad took me
and my other two sisters in and it was just the three of us.
We had two other sisters, but they were all the way in Cleveland
and we were all the way out in the country. So my foster parents
worked really hard and did not rest until me and my sisters
were together. When I turned thirteen my other sisters finally
came. It was a really happy day, because we knew that hard work
always pays off. Unlike all the other homes we were in, this
was the one we knew we were safe and secure in. Me and my sisters
were always afraid to get close to people, because when you
get to know them and get to like them they don't want you anymore.
But our foster dad doesn't give up on us. He knows, even though
we've been through a lot, he'll help us get through it and we
can overcome it and be something and actually have a future.
So that's all i have to say about my foster father. He's given
us so much and we just want to give something back to him to
let him know we appreciate everything he's done for us and other
kids. NOT everyone can handle all the pressure he goes through,
but he could. He likes that his life has changed, and he just
