My
dad has risked his life for others since way before
I was born. My dad is a City Fireman New York City. He has been
a fireman for over 20 years. On 9/11 he was the only survivor of
his crew. Recently when my dad was driving into work he witnessed
this cop car that had pulled over a drunk driver get smashed into
by another drunk driver. The cop was seriously injured and my dad
pulled over and ran through 8 lanes of traffic on the expressway
to help the policeman. If it was not for my dad the cops would probably
be dead. My dad was able to perform medical techniques needed at
the scene (he’s an EMT, too). My dad also volunteers here
in his hometown a fireman and EMT. A lot of people consider my dad
their hero, but my dad is definitely my hero too and I am very proud
of that. My dad is the bravest dad that I know and I am glad and
proud to say that this amazing man is my dad! - Carissa,
