2012 Our Funniest Halloween Ever

The funniest Halloween was when my little brother had a huge sugar rush and my dad clocked him at 15 mph. in a Yoda costume. Then he ran into a giant blow up pumpkin! It was hilarious. I couldn’t help it - I started laughing so hard I fell down. But I still couldn’t believe he broke a hole in the pumpkin. The little kids wouldn’t go there until five years later! So every Halloween we tease my brother when we set up our giant blow up pumpkin. He was signing autographs for two months! We still can’t believe it. – Kristen, 11, Ohio

Okay, I think every one has seen those blow up costumes. Well at my party I had one and it was that chicken one. I took it off for bobbing for apples. When the game was over it was missing, so I looked for it. When I found it my friend Dylan was running around in circles outside with it on... in the rain. IT WAS SO FUNNY! – Rachel, 12, Indiana

One night when my sis and I were trick-or-treating, we went to our own house. We rang the doorbell a zillion times, but our mom did not come. So we tried to go in through the back door. It was locked. Then it stared to pour down rain! We knocked and knocked until we realized the front door was open. We went into the house and there were my mom and dad dead asleep! – Katey, 13, Maryland

Last year was so funny! I was a bat but some people thought I was a witch or vampire. It was so funny! But when I heard the doorbell ring, I opened the door and there was a huge cake on my front door. 4 layers high! I was dressed normal but I was going to change. But when I went to pick up the cake, eggs splattered from the top of my door causing me to trip on my doorstep with eggs in my eyes. Then, I fell into the cake, head first! I was embarrassed because the people who set it up were watching what they had done from their garage. It was the most embarrassing, but funniest Halloween ever! LOL! – Sophia, 9, California

Once on Halloween we saw a scary looking house down the street. I asked my mom & my dad if my brother and me could go and check it out. Mom said ok. So we went in. As soon as we got in the door closed. I could not open it. Then we heard scary noises and no one was there. Then a hand touched my brother’s head and mine and said “Boo!” We screamed. The person took of the vampire mask. It was my dad all along. That’s my funniest Halloween! – Kayla, 10, Louisiana

Once I went to a house, and there was a man, but I thought he was a statue. So I went up to him and grabbed me. Everyone laughed. I was so embarrassed I almost cried! – Jayna, 8, Hawaii
