The Coolest Moms:
The Royal Court for 2000

Her Extremely Royal Highness: Nicole's Mom

I think the coolest thing my mom ever did was once when I was 2 or 3, it was very, very cold outside (winter). We were at a store and my mom saw this one lady that had a baby that had socks over her baby's hands because they were too poor to buy mittens. My mom felt very badly for that family, so my mom went to the mitten aisle, and bought this lady's baby a pair of mittens. The mother was stunned, but said thank you. That was the coolest thing my mom ever did.

Her Extremely Royal Highness: Natalie's Mom

My mom works 24/7. She is the E.D of a major organization called Junior Achievement for London and district. It was in Baaad shape when she took the job. Now she has organized renovations, new staff, summer school, a million new programs and much more! Mom even got a store in the mall for the kids involved to sell their products! My mom has the most terrififc sense of fashion. She knows what's hot and what's not. I can talk to mom about anything, boys, friends, growing up, family, and much more. Mom also can tell me anything. We have a terrific bond. Did I mention she is a single mom? Our house wasn't big enough so she moved to a bigger one, even though it's more money. She does stuff like that for me. I love her so much. My mom is so cool with my friends too. She knows what my girlfriends and I talk about. We all talk about our crushes when she's around and she gives us advice! My mom is, THE COOLEST MOM IN THE WORLD! Thank you.

Her Extremely Royal Highness: Melissa's Mom

My mom is the coolest. Here's why: My mom goes to work every day as a nurse and is family to elderly people who have none, and saves lives of those who want to hold on just a little longer. She puts us kids first. She stays overnight with me when I have surgery on my ears. She has the inner power to listen and wash all of our problems away with her soothing voice. She can make us laugh when our world has been shattered, when we have been victims of teasing, or someone has pushed us down on the playground, or we dropped our ice cream cone on the sidewalk. She knows how to make bad things seem good, and good aspects seem better. She can walk outside on a rainy day and make the sun shine bright. If you don't crown my mom, I will expect pigs to fly. This gentle, kind, funny, smiling, knowing woman deserves it. She is Angel on Earth. I love you mom! Happy Mothers Day!

Her Extremely Royal Highness: Lerin's Mom

When I was in grade five and eleven years old, she took me out of school for five months and we went to China and seven other countries. She said that I didn't have to take any homework from school, which went against the suggestions of my teachers, and so off we went!! It was so much fun, and on top of that for my grade 12 year she let me go back to China again with my school for 12 days. It was so cool and I was so happy to know that she was my mom, both times I went she did everything she could to make sure I was prepared and she did what she could to cover the cost factor!! My mom is really cool and I don't think, actually I know that most parents would let their kids do such an amazing and cool trip - not just once, but twice!! How cool is that? THANKS MOM FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Her Extremely Royal Highness: Stefanie's Mom

She is soo cool. Because when my parents broke up she bought a Sunfire convertable and now we go cruisin' 'round downtown with the top down. It's so much fun. Sometimes she even lets me choose the music. And I'm a diabetic so she tries really hard to make it seem not so bad and tries to help me cope so that's really cool. My friends and I all agree she's cool. I think my mom should totally be crowned coolest mom, cause I'd realize how hard it would be to be a single mom with two high school kids and work 1hr away and have to drive there and back. Also she has to take time off for my doctors' appointments and things. So she tries oh so hard to make everything work out as best that we have the ability to make it work out. I think that is totally cool.
