Bravest Moms on the Web:
The 2006 Royal Court
The bravest thing
my mom does is she lets me fight my own battles. She lets me make mistakes
and lets me learn from them. And last, but not least, my mom shows me
the real world so that when I get older I will be STRONG, SMART, AND BOLD!!

Last August, we
were going to Mississippi to see my grandma. While on the road we had
this terrible accident. Everyone was sleeping except the driver. So my
mom woke up, got out of the car, and woke all of us up to make sure we
were all okay. There were six people in the car, so it was hard. Finally
we all got out and none of us (I mean NONE of us) had any type of damage
or bruises. After we all got out my mom immediately called the police.
When they got there, they told us that someone was watching over us that
night. And I thank my mom for being brave and thinking about us always.
I love you mom. Happy Mother's Day!! – Denisha, 13, Kentucky
Earlier this year,
when Hilary Duff came to Ontario (Where I live) my mom spent hours on
the internet looking for tickets. Finally she got them. I received them
as a birthday gift. But what I didn't know was that they were the highest
tickets up, and they were the only tickets left. My mother is afraid of
heights, and she sat with me the entire concert, on the fourth story of
the arena, in the highest seats, to help me have a good time. Other people
may say that their mother is someone saved a life, or put someone jail
where they belonged. But to me my mother is an everyday hero. She spends
every minute of her thinking about others. To me, she is an everyday hero.
