Samantha's Mom!

I think my mom is the bravest in the world. One day we went to Baltimore to see an Orioles' game. After the game was over, there was a huge lightning storm. The walking signal was telling us to walk, and my mom had my baby brother in her arms. All of a sudden a car kept on going and didn't stop! The car knocked her down and she fell a certain way so my brother wouldn't get hurt. The ambulance and the police came, and luckily no one was severely hurt. The driver of the car got a ticket and my mom was sent to the hospital. It was a pretty brave thing to do, because my brother could have been trampled down. He would have been killed if it weren't for my mom. My mom has done a lot of stuff that makes her brave, cool, and the best!! - Samantha, 10, Virginia

The bravest moms on the web are our Girl's World Moms. Our moms work hard to keep up with us. They hold broken families together and keep warring siblings apart. They fight to make our dreams come true. They take risks, rescue animals, face angry bosses and save kids in trouble. Every girl who wrote us about her mom knows how brave she is every day.
