My mom is very funny. One of the funniest things she did happened last summer. We had our family's best friends come over. We were all playing with little firecracker thingies in the back yard. They're like sticks and you light one end and rainbow sparks come out while you hold the other end. Well, mom had hers and she was goofing off and writing her name with it and stuff. All of the sudden, my mom's friend says, "You're on fire!" Mom didn't hear her so she kept playing with it. Her friend said it again, "You're on fire!" My mom said "Thank You!" or something like that, but it was really funny. Then my mom's friend says it louder "I'm serious. Your arm's on fire!" My mom looked (so did the rest of us), and realized her sweatshirt arm was on fire. She immediately took it off, threw it on the ground, and stomped until the fire was out. "That was close,” she said. And then we kept playing with them! Later we asked her if she felt it and she said she never would've known. She does lots of other funny and clumsy things, but it would take a year to type them all out! She always cheers me up when I'm sad with a joke or something. And I always cheer up and laugh!
