The Coolest Moms:
The Royal Court for 2007

My mum is always there for me. I have an identical twin sister that people always confuse with me, but she always remembers that we're different people. My sister is cleverer, prettier and more popular than me, but my mum always makes me feel better. I sometimes get really angry and slam doors, but she forgives me. She understands everything I tell her, and I tell her everything. I tell her about boys, clothes, friends and my worries. She always listens and cares about each thing I say. We may have our ups and downs, but I'd be devastated if she weren't around. I love her to bits (not literally). She is the world’s coolest mum. – Katy, 11, England

My mom is a very loving and caring person. She is really nice to all of my friends. She is so cool to them that they even call her mom number 2. She is very pretty. Everyone says that I am lucky to look like her. She doesn't dress like a mom. She has a very cool style. She cares about how she looks. I used to be a tomboy but she taught me that it is way cooler to be a girly girl. She taught me how to do my hair and how to do my make up without looking like a clown. She is the coolest mom in the world. She cracks me up when she does something manly. She cooks for me. She cleans the house. She also has a really nice sporty car. She teaches me some stuff for my cheerleading tryouts. Sometimes she acts like a little kid. My mom is the coolest mom on the planet. My mom is the coolest mom because she sacrifices so much for my brother, sister, and I just so we can have a great life. In the summer, she takes us to cool places like the Zoo, the Art Museum, and the Library, just to name a few. She will do anything for us. If we're sick, she'll take off work to be with us. If we're hurt, she'll give us a popsicle to make us feel better. She can be embarrassing at times but in a funny sort of way. She does so much for us so we can feel special and I would love if she could feel special for a day. Not only is she my mom, but she's also my best friend! – Britni, 14, Ohio
