Got to memorize something hard? Like a list of things? Try using an acronym. Here's how it works. Let's pretend you're in science class. The teacher wants you to remember all the planets in our solar system. And, she wants you to know which ones are closest to the sun. How do you remember that?

First, make a list of the planets, with the one closest to the sun first on the list, and the rest of them in order.

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto

Next, take the first letter of each word. That should be m, v e, m, j, s, u, n, and p. Make up a silly sentence using these letters.
