How to Own That New Language

• Write a movie review in that language and share it with a penpal from that country
  
  
• Get a penpal (or epal!) from another country
  
  
• Make jokes in your new language
  
  

More Advice

Often this can be made really easy if you be creative. For example, if you study a foreign language, such as I do, link words! You can remember that kita means we in Indonesian, by remembering the phrase WE fly KITES (kites is like kita, get it?). If you let your mind be really creative, you can apply it to all subjects, it's really easy and works! Oh, yeah, and if you massage your feet, the blood going to your brain triples and you can work better. -- Bree.m

Never give up. If you have a big big test don't sweat it, study for a couple of hours then ask someone to quiz you on it. Try to get all the questions right. But if you don't, it is ok. Get to bed early the night before the test, so you can get a good night sleep. The day of the test just relax and be calm.
