Meet Marsha Evans:
From Rear Admiral to Executive Director
Girl Scouts of America

Marsha Evans

Imagine getting dragged out of bed on a Saturday morning to go follow your little sister around on her big quest to go see "a real aircraft carrier" dock. Like -uh- hello! What happened to sleep? But then, when we got there, I saw something really new. There were a whole lot of women working right next to the guys on that high tech ship. So when the small wonder (that's my sister Lauren) suggested that our girls' club check out what it's like serving in the Navy, I thought -- cool. Let's find out.

So that's the story behind how Lauren and I got to meet one of the highest ranking women in the Navy -- Rear Admiral Marsha Evans. Now girls, this is one woman who's been there and done everything. She's made history by leading the committee that helped the Navy open up nearly every job they had to women. So here's your chance to do some girl-talking about the future with a real mover and shaker! Admiral Evans is waiting to talk to you.
