Adm. Evans: The first thing is to always do your best. Maybe that's not always possible, but if you do your best, you'll find that you have more opportunities.

The second thing is, be a good friend. Be the kind of person that people look at and say, "She's really treating other people with respect." It's kind of like the golden rule. Treat other people the way that you would like yourself to be treated.

It's kind of old, and people have said it for a long time, but I think it's still very important. If you're a good friend, you don't pass on negative information about people. If you're a good friend, you're concerned about your friend's feelings. If you're a good friend, you try to set a good example for your friends, so maybe they'll have better opportunities. I think that's really important.
