Brigid: How about a "betcha" for girls?

Shari: A really fun one, because you can do it to people, is say, "Betcha I can hold water in a sieve!" -- and you have water and they pick it up and pour it through the sieve and it goes through. And then you pour a tray of ice cubes into the sieve. Ice! That's frozen water!

You can also say to your friends, "Betcha can't stick out your tongue and touch your ear." Then you do what you said you were going to: stick out your tongue and touch your ear with your finger.
