Brigid: Do you have any pets or favorite animals?

Shari: We have the dog that everybody sees on my show. The golden retriever called Huxley is my pet. And she's not a trained dog, she's just the kindest dog in the world. And so, she wants to know what you want of her and then if she possibly can, she'll do it. All I have to do is hit the side of my leg and walk, and she heels. All I have to do is point to the floor and she sits. And it's all because she's so kind. She's old now, and we're giving her lots of love in her old age. She gave us such pleasure all the years that we've had her.
