Meet--
    MG, Mary Gold

Mary Gold, also known as MG, is 11 years old and in the seventh grade. MG is the daughter of a famous movie star. She has been riding since she was three. MG is both refined and spoiled; she does not get along well in school even though she is smart. She has a very bad temper and has no real friends except for her horse, Sunspot. In order to give her a "normal" life, MG's mother sent her to High Sierra Falls to live with her grandmother. MG is under strict orders not to reveal her real name or her mother's celebrity status to anyone, or she will lose the only thing she really loves -- Sunspot.
