I Want To Be Like Her... I have a friend who I have known since I was five. She is a great friend but sometimes I get jealous of her, because of her straight blond hair and she is extra skinny. I am not fat but she is skinnier. Also she can wear belly button things, short shorts, and skinny straps. She can also wear nails to school. And I have grown up in a family of 6 kids so I can't get a lot of stuff but she gets spoiled rotten. I wish that I be like her sometimes. I do sit-ups every night to be like her and I tell my self all the time to not worry how you look, but then when I spend time with her I get so jealous and that makes us fight a lot. What do you think I should do about this? - Molly, 11, USA "Hey,
Molly!"This
is so weird because me and my friend were exactly like that! Except
I was that Blond girl. Now, wait! Don't blow off this message,
there is more. Me and my friend were the exact same as what you
are describing. Except there is one thing that is different now...we
don't fightt anymore! Now your probably saying, "I have tried
and we still get in fightts." Well, what worked for me and
my friend was one of us sat down and and the other one talked
and nobody said a word except for the one who was talking (Go
someplace quite). Then, once the other person is done, you say
what you want to. Then, when that is all over sit down and talk
together with out fighting. Now this probably won't work for everyone,
but it worked for me and my friend. Now you will fight later on,
but not about clothes, hair or looks. You will be fitting over
something so puny you guys will end up laughing. Hope this helped! Ashley, 11
