She Brags Too Much!

There is this girl in my grade I used to be really good friends with. Now, I hate her! She lies, steals, and makes fun of my other friends! She is so stuck up, she thinks she's smarter han everyone in the 6th grade! She brags all the time too, so much that sometimes I think the only reason she has cats is to brag about them, like they're trophies! I'm sorry, I don't mean to obsess about her, but I just can't stand her anymore! The only problem is, she is super sensitive, cries sometimes for no reason. I don't want to get in trouble for telling her I don't want to be friends with her anymore. How do I let her know without making her cry? This has gone on too long. HELP! - Rhiannon, 11, Illinois

 

"Hey, Rhiannon!" I know how you feel I have had the same problem! My so called "friend" sounds just like yours. I wanted to get rid of her but I didn't know how.

So what I would do is maybe try to talk to her tell her she is bragging a little and it is getting on your nerves and if she starts to cry then try to tell her. Say what you want to say in a nice way. She might listen and if she doesn't then keep trying.
