My friend Kelly likes this kid Matt. But I found out 2 days ago that he likes me. We have a newspaper at school, and Kelly and I both work on it. Of course there's a gossip column and a "Cutest Couple" column. The day after I found out Mat liked me, the Cutest Couple column said, "This weeks cuties are Renee & Matt." Kelly saw it and totally flipped on me! I'm not going out with Matt, but she doesn't want to talk to me or listen to me. I am about to give up and not be her friend anymore! I have a lot of friends, so if she wants to be mad she can. But I don't want to lose her - we have been friends for 6 years! Help Please! - Renee, 16, Ohio

"Hey, Renee!" Your friend needs to know that you dont like him, and that your not going out! Tell her the truth. That you found out that he liked you. If your friend can't handle her crush liking someone else, shes not a very good friend. You should be able to have a friendship, no matter how many boys try to mess it up. Boys come and go, but friendship lasts a lifetime. Tell her what you feel, and be honest. If she doesn't take your apology, well, keep trying, and let her cool down! Hope it helped!
