Which
One of Us Is Wrong?
My best
friend and I have known each other ever since second grade. We grew
up together in the same small town until a couple of years ago when
I had to move to Nevada. We exchange emails and letters, and I call
her all the time. But a week ago I was chatting with her and was
wondering why she hadn't emailed me or had even taken the time to
write me a letter. She has never called because she says it costs
her too much money. And yet she expects me to call her. Well, she
told me that she hasn't been able to write or anything, because
she's too busy with school and friends. I got mad at her. Really
mad, and said, "So you can spend time with other friends that
you see every day, but can't write to your BF who lives in a whole
other state!?" She's mad at me now, and hasn't emailed me or
anything for over a week. And I don't think she plans too. Well,
I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me if I'm being
the unreasonable one or if she is.

"Hey, Natasha!" Friends come and friends go but best friends are forever. If y'all are true friends, then what has happend won't change anything. You are right; she should take a few seconds and write to you. But she also needs to have a life and if she says she is busy then she might be. What you should do is up to you. But I think that if you and her are true friends, which it sounds like y'all are, then this will pass and things will be better. Personally, I think that you should call her and talk it over. Don't just leave it up to her.
