My Sister is Sooo Bossy! My sister is driving my younger sister and me nuts. This last week I was at the mall with some friends and I was buying this cute shirt. She came up and said to the cashier, "Never mind!" Then she took the shirt out of my hands, got the money back, put the shirt back on the rack and took me home. I was so embarrassed! It wasn't like there was anything wrong with the shirt - just a normal t-shirt. Then she gave me and my little sister a lecture that night. Our mother doesn't seem to care. Any ideas on how to get my big sister to stop being such a bossy?! - Kristen, 12, California "Hey, Kristen!" Well, I have a brother that is the exact same way. He is so bossy! Have you tried asking your sister to maybe not be so bossy? If you haven't, I recommend doing that. If you ask her and she still doesn't stop, try talking to your mom about it. You could ask your mom to talk to your sister about not being so bossy. (Maybe if you let your mom know how you feel, she may care). If none of that works, just try to be nice to your sister and maybe she will be nicer to you. Good Luck!!

(Editor's Note: When you talk to your mom or sister, make sure your reasons are well thought out and that there's no whining or wishy-washy, "Well, because it bothers me," excuses. You'll come off as much more mature and deserving of less bossing.)
