Check out my book!Fourteen-year-old, Angela Marie Ortiz is in 9th grade in California. She read through thousands of submissions from the readers of Agirlsworld.com and more than 90 girl editors from around the world to create "Talking About: Boys". Here's more about Angela.

I would describe myself as nice, caring and honest. For fun, I go to movies, hang out with friends, go to the mall, shop and play soccer. Whenever I feel blue, I sit on my bed and while I read books, I listen to music. My role model is my mom because of all the nice things she does for me. My hopes and dreams are to continue to be a soccer player, go to college, and eventually get married and have kids. I like being a girl today because we can vote and we can do anything we want to do.

I first became a member of the A Girl's World (AGW) girlcrew in May of 1996. I am one of the original and first members of AGW. The most exciting thing I've ever done (as part of the crew) was meet LeAnn Rimes in 1997. Many things have changed since the first year of AGW. When we just started out, we only had about 8 pages and not very many editors. Now we have more than 680 pages and 90 editors. We also have many more activities. Being a member of the AGW girl crew is fun, exciting and a really great experience. It means a lot to me because it makes me feel important, happy and I enjoy being there. I keep coming back to AGW because I like being with all of my friends. The biggest challenge writing this book was finding the right stories to put in. I like the way my book is set up and how the chapters go. I also love the activities the people can do while they read the book. The only advice I can give to girls who want to be writers is to keep up the hard work and never give up their dream. --Angela Ortiz, 14, Talking About Boys, editor.
