What Would You Do?
This Week's Family Faire Survey

What would you do if you are known for always getting A's in all subjects, then, all of a sudden you begin getting C's on reports and tests? Would you tell your parents? If so, how?
  --Anna, 11, California

First, figure out what has changed. Why are your grades falling? Try to improve on your own.
Tell your parents because they'll find out anyway. Just let them react their own way.
Tell your parents but say that you want to improve and ask them to help you.
Sit down with your parents and try to figure out together what has changed in your life that might be making your grades fall.
Ask a teacher, counselor or adult friend what they would advise you to do.
