PRESENTS
Renee.w of California, one of our "Hollywood Preview Crew", got to screen a new film that opens soon. Here's what Renee thought of ERIN BROCKOVICH
ERIN BROCKOVICH is a single mother with three
children and no job. The movie starts out with Erin trying to get work.
She gets involved in a car accident. Soon, her attorney, Mr. Masry,
hires her. While working there, she discovers a case. A company named
P.G & E is polluting the water in the small town of Hinkley, California.
Erin and Mr. Masry try to solve the case and get money from the company
to give to the people harmed by the polluted water.
My favorite character, personally, is Mr. Edward Masry. He always has
the answer and is reliable. He is also very smart and a lot of fun. He’s
always serious when he needs to be.
My favorite scene is the end scene when Erin embarrasses herself and
for once in her life is speechless. When Erin began going door to door
for information is when the story became really interesting to me. I
especially liked it that they paid special attention to the relationship
between the characters.
You would understand the movie a lot more if you knew law terms. I think
it's for ages 10 and up. I give this movie 4 stars --Teen girls must see this! WARNING! NOT FOR YOUNG KIDS! Anyone who can’t handle bad language should not see this movie. This movie was rated R for language. Girls under 17 must go with a parent or adult guardian.
ERIN BROCKOVICH opens March 17, 2000
This movie is rated R
