Get ready for the live action version of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS. I'll bet we’re all familiar with the story but I’ll go over it anyway (because it’s a little different in the film).

In the small town of Whoville, everyone is just crazy about Christmas, but the Grinch hates it. Why does he hate it so? When he was little he was teased and taunted by the kids of Whoville. On Christmas when he tries to give a gift to Martha May (his childhood crush) he is teased and taunted and he runs away to Mt. Crumpet.

Now the Grinch hates Christmas, but little Cindy Lou Who thinks that the Grinch might actually not be that bad. She invites him to become the Holiday Cheermiester. He actually accepts and almost becomes a genuine Who, but what goes wrong? You can only find out if you watch the movie!

Jim Carrey's outrageous physical comedy really works for the Grinch. There are chases and action but, in the spirit of the film, no real violence. The Grinch's gadgets are way fun to watch and Max, his dog is well. okay, cute. The soundtrack isn't a total loss with songs by Smash Mouth, Busta Rhymes, Faith Hill and N'Sync. I give it 4 stars out of five. It’s funny, moving and a whole lot of fun! See it with family, friends or both! It’s definitely going to be hit!
