Review:
Kung Fu Panda
“Prepare for Awesomeness”
by Christina C.
When
I took my little brother and sister to see this movie, my 10 year
old brother laughed so hard that he dropped out popcorn all over the
floor and for the rest of the movie, I could hear the crunchy sound
of popcorn under my brother’s feet whenever he moved. But despite
loosing our popcorn we still enjoyed this movie.
This
story is about a panda named Po, our unlikely hero, who has worked
in his father’s noodle shop all his life, and has always dreamed
of meeting, and fighting alongside the Kung Fu masters known as the
“Furious Five”: Mantis, Crane, Viper, Monkey and Tigress,
as well as their teacher, Master Shifu. Po unexpectedly gets his wish
when he is, seemingly accidentally, chosen to be the next legendary
‘Dragon Warrior’, the only hope to save his home, the
Valley of Peace, has against a deadly Kung Fu villain.
I really
enjoyed this movie; it had great animation and a very nice, understandable
storyline. The movie was full of very realistic characters and many
hilarious jokes that made the movie really laughable. The movie also
played along with the audience by introducing information and hints
that are used throughout the movie until the very end. This would
be a great movie to take your siblings (brothers or sisters), or even
friends, out to see. It is an awesome movie that I would highly recommend
watching. In fact, as soon as the three of us left the theatre, we
wanted to see it again!
This
movie is rated PG for cartoon violence
