AGW'S HOLLYWOOD REVIEW CREW PRESENTS
Lesha, 16 of California, one of our "Hollywood Preview
Crew", got to screen a new film that recently opened. Here are Lesha's thoughts
on MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: 2
In M.I.:2Tom Cruise (still a hottie) stars as Impossible
Mission Forces agent Ethan Hunt who is sent to stop greedy thieves from
unleashing a horrible virus on the world. Ethan is told to bring together a crew
and to recruit pretty master thief Nyah Hall (Thandie Newton). Hunt falls for
her and they start a romance then Hunt learns that his boss (played by great
actor Anthony Hopkins with no credit on the film) wants him to use her to spy on
the virus thief Sean Ambrose (Dougray Scott) who happens to be her ex-boyfriend.
Ethan Hunt has to stop the thieves and get rid of the virus and its
antidote. When Nyah is found out by Ambrose and knows he'll kill her, she
injects the horrible virus into herself. Hunt has 20 hours to get his hands on
the antidote and give it to Nyah before she dies and also becomes a modern
"Typhoid Mary" infecting most of the city of Sydney, Australia!
This movie is full of "Matrix-style" wild
action. The chases are great and a lot of the fights are in slow-motion.
Although there are a lot of people shooting at each other, you don't see that
much blood and no gore. It's sort of like a really cool ballet with the chase
and fight action choreographed like a smooth dance. The music is hot and you
root for Ethan in a race against the clock. If you are into fast-paced action
and a really cute Tom Cruise this film is for you!
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: 2 is now showing This movie is rated
"PG-13" for intense sequences of violent action and adult relationships.
