This
movie was confusing and felt rushed. There were a lot of extra characters
that might have been good if the movie was not so jumpy. The director
could have had cut out some of the scenes that just confused people
and didn’t add to the story too much. But because the directors
added unneeded scenes, they didn’t have time to do the whole
song and dance and develop the people in 90 minutes. This caused many
of the cast members to seem like clutter in a messy room; unneeded,
and giving you the felling of being cramped.
One thing about the movie
that made it feel rushed is that the main character had five days
to find six magical items and, of course, save the world. This boy
(named Will) just found out he had powers that he didn’t know
about a week ago and ended up mastering them all five seconds later.
Will also had to figure out clues to find six magical rock things
(called Signs) which turned out to all be in his very own backyard,
practically.
But hope is not all lost
for this movie. My nine-year-old brother enjoyed it, put I think he
just liked how a little boy gets super strength and gets to save the
world. So if you just happen to have time to kill and a little brother
who loves movies when a little boy gets super strength, time travel
power and the ability to move things with his mind and gets to save
the world, this just might be the movie for you.
Enjoy?
