Christina, 13, California of our Hollywood Preview crew went to a screening of a new animated fantasy film. Here's the scoop on:

SHREK

Shrek is a hilarious new movie with Mike Myers and Eddy Murphy as the lead voices of Shrek (Myers) and the Donkey (Murphy). The basic story stars Shrek, a disgusting (or trying to be) ogre who lives alone and likes it that way.
He always had planned to keep his privacy and be alone in his swamp forever.
Until one day when he meets up with the donkey who also is alone (but he
doesn't want to be) The things the donkey says and does will have you
roaring with laughter. Shrek makes it perfectly clear that he wants to be
alone, but the persistent donkey won't take no for an answer.

Shrek allows him to stay for one night however, that night he is shocked to find hundreds of fairy tale characters outside his door. It turns out that Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow), a very tiny ruler, has banished them from his kingdom and sent them to Shrek's swamp. Shrek sets out to see Farquaad and demand these characters leave his home, so he and the donkey set out for
the castle. When they arrive they find that the Lord Farquaad is in search of his true love who is held captive in a castle guarded by a fire eating dragon. If he can marry her (a princess) he'll be a king! If Shrek can save her from this prison and bring her back to Farquaad,. he will restore his privacy in the swamp.

So Shrek and the donkey set out to find the princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz). Through many adventures, they finally get the princess out of the clutches of the dragon (who turns out to be female who develops a crush on the donkey). Along the way back to Farquaad, the donkey discovers that Fiona has a secret. She had a spell cast upon her that makes her change at sundown. If she finds
her true love, the spell will be broken. What is her secret? Will the spell be broken? Don't wait any longer and go see Shrek today. Be sure to look closely at the fairy tale characters all of whom are very familiar. How many
