HOLLYWOOD REVIEW CREW
PRESENTS
Lynn.b of California, one of our "Hollywood Preview Crew", got to screen
a new film that opens soon. Here's what Lynn thought of THE SKULLS
In THE SKULLS, poor college student Luke McNamara
(played by Joshua Jackson, one of the hotties from "Dawson's Creek")
joins a secret society known as The Skulls to help him get money for law
school and impress his rich girlfriend Chloe (Leslie Bibb). These
secret groups actually exist and help the guys who join to be successful
all through their lives. Luke gets a great car and all kinds of cool
stuff but then the group starts taking over his life.
When Luke's best friend Will kills himself, after tying to expose the
group to the press, Luke suspects that his "soul mate" in the Skulls,
Caleb Mandrake (hottie Paul Walker from the movie "Varsity Blues") is
involved in the death. In trying to find out what happened, Luke
uncovers the evil side of the group and learns that big success comes at
a high price.
"Skulls" has everything; hot guys, suspense, mystery, edge-of-your-seat
chases and
you root for the good guys to win. Go see it! We recommend this movie
for ages 13 and up.
THE SKULLS opens March 31, 2000
Rated PG-13
