Movie Review:

Sydney White

by Christina, 15, California

movie poster for SYDNEY WHITEI think that this is a good movie. This movie was about a girl, named Sydney, who was trying to fit in to a group. The name of it I can’t remember but they are pretty much girly-girly want-a-be's (in my own words). Eventually Sydney leaves and starts being herself, among other things.

I liked this movie because it had some really funny parts in it if you are a teen. It also has many parallels to Snow White. However, it is PG-13 due to bad words and some nudity. This would have been a great PG movie if they cut, or modified some parts of the film and took out the bad words. That would have made it so much more enjoyable for me.

This movie is not a sequel and does not come from a book. You can randomly choose to see it and you wouldn’t feel lost. But being a teen made the movie so much funnier to watch. It would also be good to be familiar with the story ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ because then you can find parallels between the two stories.

If you want to see a preview of Sydney White there is a good one linked from the website http://www.sydneywhite.net

This movie is rated PG-13
