Out in front with 'N Sync

NSync is composed of five cool guys, Justin, JC, Chris, Lance and Joey.

Our favorite is Justin Randall Timberlake, the youngest in the group. He was born on January 31,1981 in Memphis, Tennessee, at 6:31 P.M. When he was 7, his mom and dad had a divorce. His mother and he moved to Orlando, Florida. At a young age, Justin Timberlake enjoyed singing and tapping his feet to the beats of music. when he got a little older he began entering contests. He was in a contest called "Dance Like the New Kids on the Block" and won. He actually began his career on The Mickey Mouse Club. He was also joined in the MMC by future N'sync member J.C. Chasez.

Justin and J.C. soon became good friends and wow, what seemed like a million years later the group formed. In 1996, *NSYNC signed a recording contract with BMG Entertainment. They soon became a smash hit in Europe, winning the International Newcomer Award at the German Comet Awards. In 1998 the guys burst onto the music scene in the United States with the single "I Want You Back". They released their self-titled debut CD later that year, and with their second single "Tearin' Up My Heart", continued their path toward music super-stardom!

Justin has curly blond hair and a cute face. He's over 6 feet tall. (He's almost always voted cutest in the group.) Justin has a dog named Ozzy and a cat named Alley. Justin's nicknames are Curly, Bounce, Shot and Mr. Smooth. He prefers healthy food, and he loves cereal. Justin drives a Cherry Red Mercedes Classic with chrome wheels.

Justin's fave Spice Girl is Melanie Brown;Scary Spice. He also like Emma Bunton;Baby Spice. His fave actress is Sandra Bullock.

As a good luck thing, NSync plays hacky sac before a concert, which Justin thought of. His #1 sport is basketball and he would like to play one on one with Michael Jordan. He says that, next to his voice, his most treasured possession is a sports jersey autographed by NBA star Shaquille O'Neil.

Besides playing and watching basketball, Justin likes to spend his free time chilling to mellow R&B music, grooving on the dance floor, and hanging with his group mates, whom he affectionately calls his "best friends."

We think Justin is the sweetest member of all, and he is a good role model, cuz he shows you can be anything you want to be.
