Laura I want to be a singer in a group when I'm older. What advice would you give me on getting started?
DC Never let anyone tell you you can't do it! And know the business!

Lynn What are fans in Holland like? Quiet or really rabid?
DCYou have some that are quiet and then some that are really hyper!
Lynn You guys have great 3-part harmony. Would you like more people in the group or any girls some day?
DC Thanks. Who knows we might one day do somwthing like that!
Lynn I really like Pedal to the Steel. Did you guys write that one. If not, how did you get it?
DC We didn't write it. A friend of ours did.
Lynn If you could be stranded on an island with one famous girl and one CD what would they be?
DC Miss Spears.... and my new Eminem CD... go figure!

DC Yeah DC is.

DC WE LOVE to dance. We have people who help us out on our "moves" but if we had more time we would do it ourselves!

DC Yeah and it rocked! I couldn't believe how big it was!

Lynn Angela.o: I have a peach tree and I love peaches. I have a ton of peach cosmetics and my friends call me "Peaches".

Lynn How did you guys meet (I know you are sick of telling but....)
DC We met through fate and our love for music.
Lynn Which of your songs is the hardest to sing and why?
DCHmmm, it's hard to sing "Pedal to the steel" Because of the dancing going on but we manage!
Lynn That song is hot. Do you guys really have a dog mascot and do you like monkeys for pets?
DC We do have a dog and his name is Kodie.
Dallas But a monkey would be cool to have.
Lynn Is he with you now and where are you?
DC He's in Burbank. We're in Harrisburg PA.
Lynn Do you want to write your own songs?
Sammy We wrote 5 on our first album.
DC We have written our own songs.
DallasYeah, so we plan on doing a lot more on our second album.

Dallas lol Lynn Did you guys ever win any talent competitions when little kids? DCYeah. I sang in a few and won 101 dollars!

SammyA little bit of both.
Sammy Yea, I did a lot with gospel groups.
DC It's not what you think was and still is really fun to sing.

Lynn Laura.s: where do you get ideas for the songs you write?
DC We get our ideas from everyday life you know?!
Lynn When you write songs...do you actually write out the notes on paper or just the words?
Dallas Na we can't read music!
Sammy Not yet.

DCWe did.

DC # is cool. It's harder with harmonies and stuff but I'm cool with 3. Sammy We wanted two for arrangement in vocals but the 3 of us work out well. Lynn Angela.o: Have you guys ever been to California?
DC We live there.
Lynn Are you going to be in L.A. this summer?
DC Yeah for a little bit.
Dallas It's really hard to say because we're always on the road!

DC I'm the only child!

Sammy Love songs.
DC I love singing the ballads but when we dance it has to be somethin funky!
Lynn Is it hard competeing against the boy groups that are more established?
Sammy We just do our thing and hope that our fans like i.
DC Na, we just do our thing and they do theirs. It's all good.
Lynn Do you guys ever talk to girls in the audience or backstage after a gig?
DC ALL THE TIME!

DC It's doing really well. We're very proud of it.
Sammy Pretty good. We're actually going to be working on the new 2 in November.

DC Well we found our manager first. He lived in Youngstown so I kinda had ties with him. and he believed in us. So here we are.
Lynn Did Disney come to you guys with the Inspector Gadget song?
Sammy Yes and it was a lot of fun.
Lynn Bethaney.m: How did you get the name Youngstown?
DC Because we started doing our thing (writing and producing) together in Youngstown, OH.
Sammy That's where we all met. We wanted a name with a lot of meaning. Youngstown was it.
Lynn Laura.s: are you going to college?
DC No not at the moment.
Dallas But if I wasn't in showbiz I would be.
Sammy No. Same here.
Lynn What would you like to study in college if you went?
DC MUSIC!!! lol
Sammy Psychology.
Dallas Drama and Music.
Lynn Ha. Seriously, if I'm in a girl group that sings in my school and we want to go pro, what is the first thing to do?
DC Make some demos.
Dallas You have to have something to show people what you can do.
Lynn Do you just send them to the record companies?
DC It's too hard these days just to walk into a record company and sing for someone.
Sammy Sing where ever u are. You never know who's listening.
Lynn So you need to send your demo to agents first and get one.
DC You get an agent or a manager to do it.
Dallas That's the best way to go.
Sammy Ha ha same here.

DC It's hard to say. Pop music changes every 5 minutes!

Lynn I love good harmony groups. Rap just doesn't have a melody.

Lynn How do you guys stay friends while together all the time?
DC It's hard! lol.
Lynn Yeah, I can't even get along with my friends and we don't tour.

Sammy We're all leaders in our own ways. We work as a team.
DC Na we all have our own leadership skills so when we put them together its all good.
