setupA Girl's Night Together
We had the perfect sleepover.
So can you!

Set Up: 2 Hours
First we went to Wal Mart, got goodie bag stuff: love bug cars filled with candy, Valentine's Day penpcils, Hershey's Kisses, M&M's and peanut butter cups, a game, and Valentine Day heart signs to decorate with. At Blockbuster we rented Ever After, and brought a copy of Never Been Kissed. At Vons we got donuts and fruit punch for breakfast, pizza for lunch, soft drinks and a big pack of different kinds of chips. We got ice cream, cool whip and chocolate syrup and m&m's.

Most of the setup for the party was unpacking and putting away the food. It was a Valentine's Day sleepover so we taped Valentine's Day signs up on the front door and around the room. For decorations, we made streamers with ribbons, and got a red tablecloth. We set out cups and napkins and plates and put the candy in bowls.

The Party!
Christine brought a copy of Twist magazine. We took turns reading and answering the quiz questions, "What Kind of Guy Would Be Your Perfect Valentine?"

watching videos

Next we watched the Drew Barrymore videos. We had an "all you can eat" snack fest and ate lots of snacks and junk food. (Total cost of food for party: about $40.00 for six girls.

wave hands game

Later we played a game Angela learned from her soccer team where everyone laid face down and we overlapped our hands. Then one girl and one hand at a time, we had to move each hand up and down in a wave motion. It was very hard!

Can you memorize these? Then we played a memory game that Christine had brought. She put 20 items under a blanket then when she uncovered the blanket everyone had 60 seconds to look at and memorize as many items as we could. Then she covered the items with a blanket and we had two minutes to write as many items as we could. The winner was the one who remembered the most!

Sunday sundaes

We made yummy ice cream sundaes! We ate our ice cream while we watched Ever After.

sacking out

After that we lay down in our sleeping bags and talked forever but [eventually!] went to sleep.

The next morning when we woke up we ate doughnuts and watched tv. Then we got dressed and played Twister. We also played Simon. We were going to play Cranium and Life but we didn't get to them.

Later on we decorated our goodie bags.

And we ate some of the delicious fruit pizza that Stacy brought. It was a very good sleep over!!!
