Doesn't He Get It?!

Lately I have been going out with guys & then they stop calling & answering my calls. When I finally get a hold of them, I find out that we broke up and the guy didn't even tell me! WHAT IS UP WITH GUYS?? Anyway, there is this new guy that I like & we are good friends, but I want to be more. I send signs that I like him but I don't think he's getting them. It seems like he is sick of me but I don't know. Should I leave him alone or keep trying? - Brooke, 16, Utah

"Hey, Brooke!" First of all, About the guys who stop calling you, maybe you're doing something wrong. Examine what you do and you will find the solution.About you liking your friend, you should not violate a great friendship for a relationship. It ALWAYS backfires.Think about what you want more , to be a part of his life for a long time (friendship) or be apart of his life for a short time (the arguements and breakup that come with the relationship). You choose!

Jessica, 16, New York USA

"Hey, Brooke!" Brooke, you need to calm down. Who really cares about boys anyway? Give it a break and let the guys come to you.

How Can I Tell Him?

This boy in my year who was really gorgeous fancied me. I could tell he did, but I was too shy to tell him I fancied him too. On the last day of school in July, he asked me if I would go out with him. But we were on the bus, and everyone was watching, so I was too shy. I walked away and didn't say anything. But now he hasn't been around all summer because he's really ill. I miss him and feel really guilty. And in the meantime, my ex-boyfriend, who has keeps asking me out even though we broke up, is still pestering me. He is kind of nice. I don't know whether to go out with him, or wait for the other boy to come back to school. - Steph, 13, Canada

"Hey, Steph!" Is there anyway you could go see this guy??? If not well, you could send him an e-card saying "hope you feel better soon" (www.bluemountain.com) and as for your ex... what do you feel? Here's somthing I did to choose between 2 guys: get a peice of paper and write their names at the top of the page. Write all the good things that you like about them (for example: Name is really nice / Name is really cute). And otherwise just folow your heart. Your heart will lead you to the guy you were destined to be with. Hope everything works out for you Steph.

Elissa, 14, Canada

"Hey, Steph!" I think you should wait' till that boy comes back to school and tell him, "Yes." Being shy isn't going to get you anywhere. Trust me, girl! I've been there!

Antwoinette, 15, Michigan

"Hey, Steph!" There must have been a reason that you two broke up. I would forget about your ex, and just move on. This guy seems to really like you. He sounds really nice. I say, "go for him." Join a drama group or something to fight off your shyness. I used to be really, REALLY shy. I joined my Drama group and now I can talk to guys easily. You have to remember, even though it was embarrasing for you, it was also embarrasing for him. Ask your school for his adress, and send him a get well card telling how you feel, or go round to his house with a small prezzie and tell him you hope he gets better soon. I hope it all goes well in the end.
