I'm Short and The Boys Don't Notice Me!

I'm really short, OK? Everybody makes fun of me for it. They think I don't know anything because I'm small. No boys like me because of it and everybody keeps making such a big deal. I ignore their comments but it won't go away. HELP! - Caroline, 12, Belgium

"Hey, Caroline!'" Being short isn't a bad thing. People come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and heights, and people just are what they are. Hey, I'm short, too! But both of us are still young, and still growing.

My advice to you is to keep ignoring them. Most likely you'll get taller. Hopefully, the people around you will get smarter and stop being such sillies. And about the boy problem, if they don't like you because you're short, then they're not the right one anyhow. They should like you for yourself not for your height. So don't worry; things will get better. Trust me.
