Christmas is Ruined!

My Christmas is ruined. My boyfriend has broken up with me but since he'd already asked me to a big Christmas dance he still wants to take me to that but then.... break up! I don't know if he is just trying to be honorable or really wants to go with me or what. He says there's no one else. He just wants to be "free." I'm heartbroken. Should I just not go or what? - Marisa, 15, Spain

"Hey, Marisa!'" I think you should maybe ask him if he is just being honorable or if
he really wants to go with you. If you don't want to ask him, get one of your friends to ask him. If you still really like him I think you should go and have fun! You and him could maybe become really good friends. Give him some time; he just might go crawling back to you.

On the other hand, if you don't like him maybe you should go with someone else. I'm sure there are many other guys to choose from. If he says he is just trying to be honorable, I wouldn't go out with him because he may have someone else on his mind. Hope this helps!
