My Friend Wants Me to Play Matchmaker!

I am so totally stuck! My friend likes this guy in our class. He called me one time and at the time I had no idea that she liked him. Later, after I said, that is when she told me she likes him. She asked me if I could get him to call her. I had no clue how hard that would be when I said yes. Doing that without him knowing she likes him is hard. The reason she wants
me to get it for her is because his grandma lives next to me and is over a lot. The sad thing is I know he has a crush on me. I don't like him that much though, except as a friend. My friend doesn't know this. I am too scared to tell her because I don't want to hurt her feelings. How do I approach her with this, or should I just leave it alone? - Nikki, 10, Georgia

"Hey, Nikki!'" Here you go! First of all, make sure your friend is allowed to talk to guys on the phone. Then tell the boy that you only like him as a really good friend and then ask him to try calling your friend sometime. If he is into the idea then it looks like you are off the hook, but if he isn`t too into the idea, then say he should really try getting to know her better.

And if you don`t feel comfortable doing this, tell your friend you didn`t feel right asking him to call you.
