Clothes: For tops, anything off the shoulder or loose, cuts in the shoulder of the sleeve is super in right now. Also, open cardigans with ah-dorable tanks make it cute, and sophisticatedly fashionable! Any cool, and funky prints are so in. Also, sweatshirts. Comfy, casual, dress ‘em up, or down. Your choice! Cool jackets with dresses are also so in right now as well. A fun tan leather jacket with a funky print dress equals perfect for a fun night out with friends. Or a casual jean jacket with a simple dress with lots of designs on the chest. For bottoms, jean shorts, jean Bermudas, and just jeans are IN. Preferably with a belt around it. Also, a nice flowing skirt with a funky or simple design is totally HOT.

Accessories: Belts, long necklaces, seashell necklaces, slap-band bracelets, braided brace-lets. FEATHERS.

Shoes: UGGS, Nike Footbed Flip Flops, Flat Shoes, Cowboy Boots and gladiator sandals.

Make-Up: EYELINER. Black. A shimmer-y but not showy lip gloss.

Clothes: Super-duper tight shirts. Leggings. Jeans with HUGE holes and rips in them.

Make-Up: Eye-liner that is Egyptian, too much blush, any eye-liner all the way up to your eye-brows.

What’s Hot and What’s Not in Illinois!

Hello girls out there! So we all know that girls have tough lives, but what makes us feel better after a hard week of school and drama? Shopping of course! Some of the best and stylish stores for teens are Gilly Hicks, Forever 21, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Claire’s. Even though Claire’s has some stuff for younger girls they still have very attractive accessories. By the way one store that isn't the best, especially for teens, is Justice. They have some very cute stuff but it's very expensive and sometimes a rip off!

So after you do your shopping and you are riding home what kind of music should you jam to in the car? During the summer its really fun to listen to songs that you can fist pump to like Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO, On the Floor by Jennifer Lopez,  Ft. Pitbull, and of course some of Lady Gaga's hits! One song that is really good but over-played (IMHO) is E.T. by Katy Perry. Very good song but it's one of those that is stuck in my head the whole day! - Mary, 13, Illinois
