How Can I Lose Weight Safely?
I want to lose
weight--a healthy way (not starving myself). Could you give me an idea
how to do that-- I exercise enough and I have trouble eating vegetables
and fruits. What should I do? - Anonymous
"Hey,
Girl-Friend!"
Hi there! As girls
grow up, they spend a lot of time comparing their bodies to friends',
models', actresses', and siblings'. To a certain extent, it is normal
to be interested in how your body looks compared to other people your
age. It is good though, trying not to starve. Dieting is not good for
growing girls. While growing up, both your mind and body need enough
nutrients. Dieting is extremely unhealthy and will affect every aspect
of your life. In some cases, it can stop one's physical and emotional
developments. So, when you are still a teenager, do not diet!
You ought to eat normally. And what does it mean to eat normally? Some
people think that to eat normally is to eat whenever you feel like it,
while for some people it is to eat just like how celebrities do. Actually,
to eat normally is to eat when you feel hungry and stop when you are
full, not too full, but when you feel you can go on with your day without
eating any more food until your next meal.
There are a few little tips to help you lose weight, such as to avoid
eating junk food while doing something like watching TV, reading, etc
because it will make you eat and eat more without realizing it. I have
heard that to control your weight, you should have one satisfying meal
rather than eating regularly for the whole day.
It is also important to eat vegetables and fruits in order to get vitamins
and to improve your eating habit. Try eating every sort of vegetables.
To start with, you can probably try to get used to only one vegetable
or fruit, then work your way up from there. Every time you have trouble
eating the vegetable or fruit, imagine yourself losing your weight,
being a healthy young lady with a charming bodyline!
About exercises, you should concentrate with some parts of your body.
Like if you do not like the size of your belly, you can do sit-up or
anything. Yoga can also give you a good body shape. You can find some
yoga sites on net.
Well, I hope I have helped you a little now. Good luck!
