My Brother's Going to War!

Dear Tuff Talk: My big brother is going to war against the terrorists. I'm terrified he won't come back. How can I be strong and support him?
-- Jane, 16, U.K.

"Dear Jane!" The war against terrorism is going to be very difficult and last a long time. Different countries are sending military men to all kind of duty. Some girls have brothers or dads (or moms or sisters) who will be guarding airports in the USA. Others will go on missions to root out and stop the terrorists. Let your brother know that you are scared for him. You don't have to hide it. Just also tell him that you support him in what he is doing and that you will write (or e-mail) him to just tell him what is going on in your life. People in the military need "normal" stuff from home to make them feel like things are okay. Tell him you love him and your thoughts and prayers go with him. Everybody is afraid but we'll all stand strong and united and win!
